This strain is a mixture of magnesium stearate and magnesium palmitate. The character is white light sand free fine powder; Slightly smelly; Creamy in contact with skin. Insoluble in water, ethanol or ether.

Magnesium Stearate is one of the most commonly used additives in supplement manufacturing and it is synthesized by combining stearic acid with magnesium.
Insoluble in water, ethanol or ether, mainly used as lubricant, anti - viscosity agent, flow aid agent. It is especially suitable for granulation of oil and extractum, and the granulation has good fluidity and compressibility. Used as a flow aid in direct compression tablets.  It can also be used as filter aid, clarification agent and bubble drop agent, as well as suspension agent and thickening agent of liquid preparations.
