Diacetone alcohol was obtained by condensation of acetone and then hydrogenated in liquid phase. Refining method 2-methyl-2, 4-pentanediol was dissolved with 1% sodium hydroxide, heated at 140ºC for 1h, and vacuum distillation was carried out below 140ºC. |
